Huntsville, Ala., Aug 5, 2015 — Sentar Inc. announced today that its founder and Chief Visionary, Peter Kiss, has been invited to participate as a speaker panelist during the upcoming 52nd Annual AOC International Symposium and Convention to be held on Dec 1-3, 2015 at the Marriott Marquis and DC Convention Center in Washington, DC. This year’s overall conference subject is “Synchronizing Electronic Warfare (EW) and Cyber to Achieve Spectrum Dominance”.
Based on his years of involvement in cyber security, Mr. Kiss has been asked to participate as a panelist for the session on “Challenges of Applying EW And Cyber Technologies to Non-Military Requirements.” Other panelists include Mr. Hung H. Nguyen, The Aerospace Corporation; Mr. Daniel C. Holtzman, the MITRE Corporation; and Mr. Earl Perkins, Gartner Group. The Session Chair will be Mr. Joe Bradley, Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center.
The panel will address the characteristic of asymmetric threats and the intent and ability of nations and non-state actors to launch EW and Cyber attacks against civilian and civic targets. The challenges of transferring military technologies to other civilian entities could potentially result in design and security compromises, over-specification of capabilities than are actually required, potential for reverse engineering by adversary elements and global availability of high-end electronics that have migrated to digital and software driven systems. There is approximately $1.4 Trillion Global S&T investment dollars in 2016 to focus on high payoff dual-use EW and Cyber systems.
