Huntsville, AL – June 7, 2019 – Sentar, Inc. (Sentar), a Women-Owned Small Business specializing in Cybersecurity services and technology, announced today that it has been named as one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina in the small/medium employer category. This marks the fourth consecutive year Sentar has been honored as part of this prestigious listing, rising in rankings over the last three years from twelfth to fifth. This year’s ranking will be announced on August 1st.
The Best Places to Work South Carolina survey-and-awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the state of South Carolina, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. Now in its fourteenth year, the program was created by SC Biz News in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.

The competition is based on employer benefits and policies plus results from an in-depth employee survey that measures engagement and satisfaction. Open to all businesses, nonprofits, and government entities that have been in operation for at least one year and have at least 15 employees working in South Carolina, the competition is sponsored, in part, by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce.
This year’s list is made up of 75 companies. The ranked companies will be recognized at a reception and dinner, presented by Colonial Life, on August 1, 2019, and the rankings will be published in the August 2019 issue of SCBIZ magazine.
