Sentar Awarded SeaPort Next Generation Multiple-Award IDIQ Prime Contract

Sentar wins SeaPort NxG Multiple-Award IDIQ Prime Contract with $5 Billion in Total Procurement Opportunities Over Ten Years

Huntsville, AL – January 29, 2019 – Sentar, Inc. (Sentar), a Women-Owned Small Business specializing in advanced Cybersecurity and Intelligence services and technology, announced today that it has been selected as a Prime Contractor for the Next Generation SeaPort (SeaPort NxG) contract.

SeaPort NxG is the U.S. Navy’s primary Multiple-Award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for soliciting Contractor support services. The opportunity to compete for current and future work fall under two categories: Engineering Support Services and Program Management support services; which are further divided into 23 functional areas. As a follow on to the current SeaPort-E contract vehicle, SeaPort-NxG has a five-year base and five-year option ordering period, with a potential value of $5 billion per year or $50 billion over the 10 year contract life span.

Sentar is currently a Prime Contract holder under the SeaPort-E vehicle. Representative work within this legacy contract includes assisting the Defense Health Agency in various cybersecurity functions and activities. This substantive support operates within several Agency Health IT Directorate divisions and facilities throughout the Continental U.S. (CONUS) and Outside the Continental U.S. (OCONUS). This work also includes direct cyber support to Navy Medicine (NAVMED), Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), and Air Force Medical Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and Programs of Record (PORs), which vary in size and complexity from 1500 to over 60,000 server and workstation assets.

"Sentar is excited to provide the Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command, with high quality Engineering and Program Management services,” said April Nadeau, Vice President of Navy, Marine Corp and Health IT. “We look forward to providing continued support to the warfighter under the current SeaPort-E and new SeaPort-NxG contracts for the next 10 years.”
