Sentar’s second year in a row on list of Top Employers in SC for Small/Medium Employer Category
Huntsville, AL – August 4, 2017 – Sentar, Inc. (Sentar) was recently ranked 5th on the “Best Places to Work in South Carolina” list, in the small/medium employer category. This award honors the best employers in the state, identifying those that provide an exceptional employee experience and workplace. The program, now in its twelfth year, was created by SC Biz News in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.
Sentar was recognized and honored during an awards dinner held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. There to accept the award for Sentar were President and CEO, Bridget Abashian; Vice President of DHA, Navy, and Marine Corps, April Nadeau; Cybersecurity and Health IT Portfolio Manager, Joseph Sabin; and Technical Recruiter, Nicky Pappano. “We are honored to be recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina for the second year in a row,” said April Nadeau. “Our people are at the core of our company’s success. The 2017 Best Places to Work in South Carolina award is based on a two-part evaluation process. The first part evaluates the company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consists of an anonymous employee survey to measure the experience of the company’s employees. The employee survey assesses overall employee satisfaction and engagement regarding company leadership, culture, communication, opportunities to learn and grow, as well as pay and benefits. The combined scores are used to determine the top companies and the final rankings.
