Sentar recognized by SC Biz News, South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group as one of the top employers in South Carolina.
Huntsville, AL – June 14, 2018 – Sentar, Inc. (Sentar), a Women-Owned Small Business specializing in Cybersecurity services and technology, announced today that it has been named as one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina in the small/medium employer category. This marks the third consecutive year Sentar has been honored as part of this prestigious listing, rising in rankings over the last two years from twelfth to fourth. This year’s ranking will be announced on August 2nd.
The Best Places to Work South Carolina survey-and-awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the state of South Carolina, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. Now in its thirteenth year, the program was created by SC Biz News in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.
“It’s an honor to be recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina for the third year in a row,” said April Nadeau, vice president of Navy, Marine Corp and Defense Health operations based out of Sentar’s Charleston, SC office. “Our success as a company would not be possible without the talented team we have assembled, and we are pleased to know that they recognize our continued efforts to make Sentar one of South Carolina’s top workplaces.”
The competition is based on employer benefits and policies plus results from an in-depth employee survey that measures engagement and satisfaction. Open to all businesses, nonprofits, and government entities that have been in operation for at least one year and have at least 15 employees working in South Carolina, the competition is sponsored, in part, by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce.
This year’s list is made up of 75 companies. The ranked companies will be recognized at a reception and dinner, presented by Colonial Life, on August 2, 2018, and the rankings will be published in the August 2018 issue of SCBIZ magazine.
