Sentar proudly announces that it has been selected by Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic) to provide Cybersecurity Risk Management Operations Support to the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Health IT Directorate.
Huntsville, AL – May 22, 2018 – Sentar, Inc. (Sentar), a Women-Owned Small Business, announced today it has been awarded a $47 million task order by The Department of the Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic) to provide Cybersecurity Risk Management Operations Support services to the Defense Health Agency (DHA).
Sentar competed against 11 other bidders for the re-compete task order, which comes as the original two-year contract, awarded to Sentar in 2014, came to an end in early May. Work on the new task order will begin immediately within a one-year base period and two, one-year option periods.
Under the new task order, Sentar will continue to assist SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic in project execution of various cybersecurity functions and activities within several Health IT Directorate operational divisions and Military Health System (MHS) facilities throughout the Continental U.S. (CONUS) and Outside the Continental U.S. (OCONUS). This includes support to several hundred DoD MHS sites and Programs of Record, which vary in size and complexity from 1500 to over 60,000 server and workstation assets.

Work will be performed in Government-owned and the Contractor’s facilities located in Charleston, SC; San Antonio, TX; Falls Church, VA; and, other locations around the world. This contract was competitively procured under a small business set aside competition.
