Bridget McCaleb, Catalyst & CEO
Mrs. Bridget (Abashian) McCaleb combines over 25 years of management experience with software engineering/development, including R&D of artificial intelligence and cyber security systems. In addition to her executive responsibilities at Sentar, Mrs. McCaleb spends a significant percentage of her time working directly with Sentar’s government customers and business partners to solve their cyber security needs.
Darren Kraabel, President
Darren joined the Sentar team in 2019 with over 25 years of experience leading large, mission-focused organizations. Prior to joining Sentar, Darren was the Chief Technology & Innovation Officer for Jacobs where he lead their global digital transformation. He also served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Jacobs’ largest ($1.3B) business unit focused on cybersecurity, intelligence analytics, and information technology solutions for the Department of Defense and National Intelligence Community. Darren also previously served as a USAF Officer where he helped develop leading-edge combat capability for Special Forces units. In 2019, Darren was selected for Washington Exec’s “Top 25 Executives to Watch” list.
Peter Kiss, Chief Visionary Officer, Co-Founder
Mr. Peter Kiss combines over 40 years of executive management experience with expertise in software systems engineering, analysis and development, and in-depth R&D work in the areas of artificial intelligence, Cyber Security and BMC3 systems. Mr. Kiss started his career out of academia at IIT Research Institute. He then joined GE as an analyst, later becoming chief engineer and then deputy Program Manager for a very large classified program. Soon after, Peter ended at GE as Manager of Advanced Programs. While at GE he received additional management and executive skill training at their Crotonville complex. He continued his career as an executive with the BDM Corporation, where he developed an entirely new and profitable business area for the company. Peter worked on various missile defense and BMC3 programs since 1983. In 1990, Peter founded Sentar, Inc. and was CEO for 20 years. In addition to continuing executive responsibilities at Sentar, Peter spends significant time contributing strategically to the company and its projects. He has been a significant contributor to the company’s R&D in knowledge-based systems and agent-based technologies, including the invention of the Patented KnoWeb® technology. Peter's technical work has been focused on cybersecurity technologies and solutions since the early 2000s.
Karen Kiss, Corporate Director and Vice President, Co-Founder
Karen’s experience began in retail where she was quickly promoted to managing several fabric stores early in her career. Next, she gained significant HR experience working for a recruiting firm before accepting a position as an employee relations specialist with a hospital. Later, she was hired into General Electric’s Space Systems HR department in Huntsville as Staffing Center Manager for a 500-person program surge. Karen began her first entrepreneurial opportunity as owner of three franchise stores for 13 years before being hired as the corporate Regional Director over 19 states. Karen co-founded Sentar in 1990, and is a member of the corporate Leadership Team. Karen’s primary responsibilities include community relations, strategic planning, and business development. Karen also spends a significant amount of time and effort giving back to the Huntsville community. Karen is a member and Past President of the Women’s Economic Development Council (WEDC). She serves on several boards, including the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra (HSO) Foundation, HSO Board of Trustees, HSO Guild, and More to Life Huntsville, while also holding leadership roles in other organizations.
Dale Brown, Executive Vice President (Army, Air Force, ICS, MDA & NASA)
Mr. Dale Brown serves as Sentar's Executive Vice President for Huntsville Operations. Dale has 38 years of leadership and management experience in addressing system, cyber security and enterprise software solutions for government and commercial industries. Mr. Brown oversees Huntsville-area business, including engineering support and program security services for the Missile Defense Agency, information assurance and cyber security support for Army Material Command (AMC) and Army Missile Command (AMCOM). Mr. Brown also oversees cybersecurity technology development focused on the unique needs of DoD and Federal clients. Previously, Mr. Brown had executive-level responsibility as head of Research and Operations, in which he assisted with developing advanced dispatch management systems using GPS and geo-spatial technologies. He also served as Director for System and Network Services for Intergraph Corporation with responsibility for North American operations. He earned a Master's of Administrative Sciences (MAS) and ISACA Certification in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT). He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Huntsville Association of Small Business in Advanced Technology (HASBAT). He has 28 years' experience managing large-scale system development and integration projects for Government/DoD clients and 12 years of programmatic management experience in information assurance (IA) and cybersecurity (CS). Dale is a recognized subject matter expert in the strategic development and implementation of complex programs.
April Nadeau, Senior Vice President (Navy, Marine Corps, Health IT)
Since 2008, April Nadeau has actively participated in a variety of roles throughout the Charleston Defense Industry and is well-respected in both government and contractor communities. She joined Sentar in March 2012 as the Division Manager and was promoted to Vice President in February, 2016 and then Senior Vice President in 2019. April directs all of Sentar’s NIWC, DHA, Navy, and Marine Corps programs, responsible for managing multiple programs, people and processes. April facilitates positive results through energetic individual effort and efficient resource management. Her efforts resulted in Sentar receiving recognition as one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina for 2016. As a valued member of Sentar’s Leadership team, April develops strategic ways to grow the company, extending its reach and reputation. These tasks include opportunity identification and capture, acquiring and maintaining customer and partner relationships, and supporting proposal efforts. Prior to her election to the CDCA Board of Directors in 2015, April served on the CDCA Education Committee. Aside from her executive duties at Sentar and work with CDCA, April is active among a variety of other organizations and several boards including NIWC Executive Industry Council (2014-2015); Women in Defense Palmetto Chapter Executive Board, Treasurer (2012-2013); Women in Defense Palmetto Chapter Membership/Sponsorship Director (2010-2015); AFCEA Treasurer (2014). April graduated with a BA in History from Tulane University.
David Huchette, Vice President (Intel)
Mr. David Huchette (Dave) has a long (30 year) history in the Intelligence Community supporting a variety of organizations. Dave started his career as a FORTRAN programmer on a large SIGINT system. Dave has spent most of the last 20 years in various management and business development roles for a variety of large and small companies including: General Dynamics, CSC, KPMG, and Verizon. Most recently, Dave has been the COO of a small Virginia-based company, where he served many roles including: FSO, HR, recruiting, contracts, and business development. During his tenure, he was responsible for significantly growing the firm as well as diversifying the contract base to include agencies such as NRO, NGA, USAF, Army, and US Navy.
Daniel Lambert, Vice President (Land, Air & Space Systems)
Mr. Daniel Lambert joined Sentar’s Huntsville based group in the Land Air and Space Business Unit in August of 2016. Dan serves as the Vice President of Land, Air, and Space with a focus on Missile Defense Agency, Space and Missile Defense Command, and Air Force. Dan has a long history (20+ years) in the missiles, space and cyber security business area with a focus on the Huntsville DoD/Federal community. He most recently served as Senior Manager of Missile Defense for Harris Corporation (Huntsville Site). Prior to Harris, Dan was Vice President of Operations for Analytical Services, Inc. (ASI). At ASI, Dan was responsible for winning the Missile Defense Data Center contract with the Missile Defense Agency, a $500M Small Business Set Aside, where he served as Program Manager. He also served as Director of Information Engineering with L-3 Communications for 12 years after spending 6 years at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center with Computer Science Corporation (CSC) as a Senior Systems Engineer. Dan proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in computer engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville as well as a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Alabama.
Joseph Sabin, J.D., Vice President (Health Information Technology)
Mr. Joseph Sabin, J.D., serves as Vice President for Health Information Technology (HIT) programs. Joe has nearly 30 years management and execution experience within cyber security, health IT, HIPAA compliance, policy, technology, and communications domains. As the Program Manager for Sentar’s Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) contracts, Joe has led and consistently grown various functional teams and activities. In addition, Joe helps guide business development and capture strategy efforts, and further contributes to corresponding capability identification, development, and sustainment. Joe proudly served in the U.S. Army as Audio Visual Director for Presidential Events within the White House Communications Agency (WHCA) and Newscast Director for the American Forces Korea Network (AFKN). Joe holds a Juris Doctor and Post Graduate Certificate in Communications Law and Policy from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from George Mason University. He has earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) designations, among others credentials.
Amy Wilson, Vice President (Strategic Initiatives)
Amy joins Sentar after nearly three decades of dedicated support to federal government clients throughout the Department of Defense and numerous Civilian agencies, with primary focus on mission IT, cybersecurity and intelligence operations services. Amy brings extensive sales and operations leadership experience to the position, focused on delivering differentiating solutions in the Intelligence Community and DoD markets. Prior to joining Sentar, Amy served as Division VP of Growth & Sales for Intelligence and Information Solutions at Jacobs where she led the development of a diversified pipeline totaling $12B in revenue. She also provided executive sales leadership of more than a dozen bids totaling $1.6B in revenue in FY19, including active participation in all phases of the opportunity lifecycle.
Jill Malliet, Vice President (Business Administration)
Jill joined Sentar in 2018 and leads a team of superstars who provide Business Operations and Infrastructure Support. She has over 30 years of professional and management experience with a variety of GovCon and commercial companies providing services in such areas as engineering, SaaS, logistics, genetics, guarding and aircraft maintenance. Her passion is driving customer-focused results by maximizing utilization of system and human resources while implementing process improvements in the Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Security and Contracts Management functions. Jill is a CPA and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Deborah Williams, Director (R&D and Federal Systems)
Ms. Deborah Williams, CISSP, has over 20 years of professional and management experience, specializing in Cyber Security since 1999. Deborah serves as Director of R&D and Federal Systems for Sentar, supporting numerous Government and Military clients as a Strategist, Analyst, Engineer and Program Manager. She has worked across the Cyber Security life cycle, from design and implementation, acquisitions, policy development and operations, and assessments involving both field work and large headquarter activities. Ms. Williams holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Areas of special interest include enlightened cyber security management, and risk assessment methodologies. Deborah is also an active volunteer in Huntsville's non-profit community.
